I am the guy who wanted to join here and write cricket posts. My earlier request has been “awaiting moderation” for more than a month now.

Mike Atherton has no credibility to criticise modern players as he had been caught with saw dust to tamper with the ball–caught once but could have carried and used it more times. Hussain was the most arrogant of all England captains and didn’t always played the game fairly and in particular , towards the umpires and opposition players. . Gavaskar wanted to take his team out of a test merely because he felt the he hit the ball from D K Lillee and that the Australian Umpires were against him–an excuse for bad scoring in that series—again, has no credibility. These ex-players turned commentators are like vultures and prostitutes that would say or do anything for money. We have to take their writings with a pinch of salt.

I do hope that for the sake of fairness, you publish the reply from Stuart Broad in Times of Inida today.
