I have always been a great fan of Sachin. He is God when it comes to cricket

But I was not very happy about the way he brushed aside John Gloster’s report on his fitness. John had mentioned that Sachin is not fully fit and needs rest.

Inspite of this Sachin went on records to say that he is fully fit. Result he didn’t take the field for couple of days and he also ended up aggravating his injury.

So when it comes to fitness report, does the board believe the players more than the men who are professionally qualified to declare someone fit or Unfit.

Is it the same with all the players, or is it a case where some players are more credible than the others?

Kaif is more marketable than Badrinath.

Among middle order bats, Badrinath must be the unluckiest cricketer around. Inspite of doing better than Kaif in the past domestic seasons and being on the fringe for so long, even a Sachin injury cannot get him included in the team!! Obviously, he does not have the “supporters” to get him into the team. Well, Indian cricket is the loser here and come next year, I won’t be surprised if he turns out for the Chennai Superstars (notwithstanding the fact that he was a late addition to IPL without being considered for a bid)!!
