According to this article from the Sydney Morning Herald, Russell Crowe is said to be interested in buying an IPL franchise. “Rusty” co-owns the South Sydney Rabbitohs, a Rugby league club with Peter Holmes à Court through the company Blackcourt League Investments.
Now that the interests in the IPL are starting to kick in, I wonder if Zee and the guys at ICL are wondering if they would have been better off buying a franchise and not choosing to start their own league…
