Raghavan is probably a south indian brahmin who firmly believe, like many from his caste, that he is a descendent of aryans, i.e. fair skinned europeons. Such belief enables him to see the view points of Lalors that most of the sudhras can not see. Most brahmin boys like our Raghavan love to drool their admiration of anyone that is white, does not speak his mother tongue and that is nothing new. Go to TNagar in chennai, you will find them in droves.

Darshak Mehta has commented on the man and not his writing. The former is irrelevant in a professional sense. The tone in this interview is markedly different to the tone of his writings while he was in India. And if the objective, as stated, was for Indian fans to understand Peter Lalor better, then, the boys at i3j3 have done well.

Guys, where is Part-2?

I found him the worst Australian cricket writer ever. I dont understand how a newspaper can employ someone whose only qualification is being a fan of their cricket team to join them as a cricket writer. Each and every article he wrote during this tour was full of disdain for the country, its cricket board and the cricket team. It is amazing that a country that has produced Mike Coward, a Gideon Haigh, Malcolm Conn, we have this character masquerading as a journalist. What about his comment about Symonds resisting the urge to paste Sreeshant's nose all over his face. Pathetic. He should spend his time on the Sidney cricket ground barracking visiting teams instead of writing about cricket.
Probably the worst cricket writer by a distance.
