Sachin and Saurav are going to open so anyways including Sehwag in the squad when you already have Robin and Gautam, i dont think it is required tio be done.

We are currently looking for 4th down batsmen between Karthik, Sehwag, Gautam, Robin.

My personnel opinion is Rohit Sharam, who is not in squad for the first 3 ODI’s, should be the perfect choice and rest players will have to wait till our elder members retire from ODI’s.

Still,I would have prefered one change, inclusion of sehwag in place of Karthik. Karthik is good for test. Specially after a below average performance in ongoing 20-20 WC.

But i am sure after the first 3 ODIs sehwag will be considered if we go by Vengsarkar’s words.
