In India, any team hardly gets the opportunity to play 7-8 matches.

So a change in the domestic set-up is also necessary along with pitches and fitness standards etc.

Unfortunately, Zaheer has not had the luxury of bowling on too many seam-friendly tracks in his career, and it was a joy to see him get just a touch of assistance from the wicket and exploit it fully. To be perfectly honest with you, he bowled with the same technique he has been using for years. His county stint proved that if Indian seamers are given helpful seaming conditions, they can be just as effective as other seamers, if not more so.

I’m looking forward to seeing Zak bowl in the England series :)
