I do not understand Harsha Bogle’s article. I thought Sanjay Manjrekar’s article in Cricinfo was direct/clear. Indian selection can be baffling sometimes. They wanted to send a “subtle” message to the seniors and wanted to promote youngsters to build / invest on the future team.
When Australia rests Gilchrist, Hayden, McGrath, Ponting they want to have a good bench strength for the matches.
There are many players who may consider them unlucky – Kaif, Badrinath, Venugopal Rao, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina (injury at a wrong time).
India could have dropped Zaheer Khan and gone with another younger player for Bangladesh tour. Zaheer has played many test matches and is NOT a match winner, except against minnows.
Hi.
Good design, who make it?
