The domestic teams should also follow a performance based contract system for the state cricketers. Then a more professional mindset will enter the players early on.

Regarding player endorsements, it is a free world, players should make as much money as the market would permit. There is no question.

But, the players get the endorsement, since they represent “India”. In contrast, Aishwarya Rai gets endorsements, since she is Ash

For some cricket players, there is significantly more interest in endorsements than cricket itself. They have also formed clicks within Indian cricket team, so that their joint fortunes of the “senior players” are not affected.

Who is the next spin talent after Kumble. Harbhajan is ineffective now.
